"Why the surprise ? From the start, other Eastern Europeans and Ukraine said that Russia only understands strength - talk to them in peace, they will not respect you. Bash their teeth in and piss on their flag (like the drone attack) they suddenly want to talk. Just watch the reactions on russian social media - only after events like these, they see the "pointlessness" of the war and talk against it."
